Challenges

We have a weekly challenge here at Handmade Harbour.  Anyone is welcome to join in, as long as one of the following applies to your project:

1. it's made from paper
2. it's made using a digital stamp

It doesn't have to be both!

Josie is on our design team and sews
using Handmade Harbour digital stamps to create applique images.
Here she used the Beetle car digital stamp on a make-up pouch.

Let me answer a few questions for you:

Do I need to use a Handmade Harbour digital stamp?
No, although we would love you to!  And if you do, it increases your chance of winning!

Does Handmade Harbour have free digital stamps I can try out?
Yes!  Visit our free digital stamps blog page, or join our new Facebook group where there will be Facebook-only free digital stamps to download!  We don't collect email addresses or anything from these free downloads - they are there purely for promotion and for you to see if you like our stamps.

Can I share your free digital stamps with other people?
No, please don't.  However, you can share the link and direct people to our pages so they can download their own.  Doing it this way helps to support us as a small, independent business.

Can I join in with more than one project each week?
Yes, you can!

Can I join in using my tutorial blog post?
Absolutely yes!  Everyone loves a good tutorial and we are no different!

I've got a blog, but I'm not very tech-savvy.  How do I join in?
I promise it's easy!  When you see the little button that says "add link", just click it.  A window will open and if you follow the instructions you'll be done in no time!
Please remember to add the link to Handmade Harbour's challenge in your blog post.

I haven't got a blog.  Can I join in?
At the moment, it's just set up for blogs - sorry.  But we do have a Facebook group where you could show off your cards.

Could I be a designer for you?
Maybe you could!  We look for new design team (DT) members in January/February and July/August.  We'll announce it on here and on the main Handmade Harbour blog - watch out for it.  If I see you participating in challenges on a regular basis, it does increase your chances of being accepted onto the DT.

We have started accepting Guest Designers too.  If you like the sound of that, please email wendy@handmadeharbour.co.uk.
